When Tanda is the better choice
- You want one system to run rostering, award interpretation AND payroll end to end — that’s Tanda’s whole pitch, and at larger headcounts the bundle can beat separate tools.
- You have complex award or EBA conditions you want applied automatically to every timesheet.
- You’re big enough that an onboarding team, not an evening of setup, is the right way in.
When Rostru is the better choice
- You keep your existing payroll and just need the roster, availability and verified hours feeding it cleanly.
- Per-user maths doesn’t suit a big casual pool where many people work few hours.

At list prices, substantially — $59 including GST flat against $256+GST for a 20-person team on the bundle. But the bundle includes payroll and award interpretation; Rostru doesn’t do either. The fair comparison is Rostru plus the payroll you already pay for, against the bundle.
Does Rostru interpret the hospitality award like Tanda does?
No, and we say so everywhere: Rostru warns on long weeks, short rest and overlaps, and exports approved hours; the award maths stays with your payroll. If automatic award interpretation is a must-have, Tanda is the better fit.
